The Impact of My Passions and Interests

One of the best ways to determine our God-given passions for life and ministry is to reflect on those things that have the greatest impact on our values, convictions and emotions.  Take a few moments to reflect on each of the “Seven Passion Indicators”, and the corresponding scriptural references, before you attempt to more specifically identify your own passionate design for ministry.

My Passions Will:

1. Shape my PRIORITIES.

2. Adjust my SCHEDULE .

(Matthew 4:19; 8:19-22; Luke 9:23; 1Peter 2:21)

3. Direct my THOUGHTS.

(Philippians 3:19; 4:8,9; 2Peter 3:1)

4. Cause me, at times, to do the UNEXPECTED.

(Judges 7:1-8; 1Kings 18:30-38; Matthew 3:1-10)

5. Shape my CONVICTIONS .

(Joshua 14:6-11; Matthew 16:13-17)

6. Reveal my CORE VALUES .

(Matthew 26:62-64; John 18:33-37; Acts 6:8-15; Galatians 2:20)

7. Be CONTAGIOUS to those around me

(Acts 4:1-4; Acts 2:42-47)
